FIVE THINGS YOU NEED KNOW BEFORE REQUESTING YOUR RESUME:

You have a choice of a federal OR private sector resume. If you do not specify, I will consider your request as being for a private sector resume. Please take the time to make sure you know exactly what you want before making your request because it is difficult for me and takes time to go back and change everything once I have spent so much time completing your documents...and I'm sure you understand that it can be critical to be able to plan ahead when working at break-neck speed just to keep up with a huge workload

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR "FAST", THE FREE RESUME IS NOT A GOOD OPTION FOR YOU. You should begin planning for your transition at least one year in advance, which is the standard recommendation, because it may take a while to get to your resume, but I do strive to complete your resume as fast as possible.

Please keep me informed of any changes that may affect your providing timely responses to my requests for information, if you will be out of touch for a while due to deployment or other issues, and if you wish to cancel your request for a resume as I may spend valuable time on a resume you no longer need instead of on a resume one of your fellow veterans may need desperately. Let's be considerate of each other folks.

I will need the information from the questionnaire I offer on this website. (PLEASE SEND ONLY WORD/.DOC OR .TXT FILE DOCUMENTS) You may disregard the questions answered by any initial resume you may submit, but please glance over that resume again to confirm the information IS actually covered by that resume. A resume is a collaborative effort, so be ready to answer questions and have your information gathered before sending your request since we all know things occur that affect one's ability to respond in a timely manner...especially with the military.

Please DO NOT send alternative documents in place of the questionnaire. The questionnaire was designed to make it easier and faster to complete resumes. The more time I have to search for information, the longer you (and fellow veterans) have to wait for your resume. It will also cause me to have to work even longer hours to get back on schedule. I'm sure you can understand the importance of keeping on top of things when only one person is writing hundreds of resumes without any days off.
